Situated in an ideal location on the A580 between Manchester and Liverpool, Swinton Park Golf Club maintains a beautiful rural backdrop and has car parking facilities for 160 cars.

Our private parkland course was laid out in 1926 by the famous golfer/course designer James Braid. With its tree-lined fairways and spacious greens, it offers a great test for golfers of all abilities.

Banqueting & Functions

Swinton Park has become an extremely popular location for Banqueting, Functions and Conferences in the Greater Manchester area. Our modern facilities, impressive views and accessibility all combine to make it a truly inspirational off-site venue.

The Claremont Suite

The Claremont Suite is our main function room and an integral part of the clubhouse. It has it’s own entrance / reception area, cloakroom, bar and toilets.

We cater for up to 200 people and can offer you an environment that is focused or relaxed as you require.

Private Functions

Many people hire out rooms for Weddings where we are able to provide the perfect wedding reception with a red carpet and master of ceremonies if required. Functions such as Bridal Fairs, Corporate Days and Sportsman Dinners can be accommodated.

Private parties including Christenings, Birthdays, Anniversaries and Funeral Parties are our speciality, in fact, one of the best things about Swinton Park is that we are versatile enough to cater for any occasion.
