Martin Kemp announces a unique Summer 80’s DJ night! Presenting his Ultimate 80’s Gold DJ Party on The Grand Pier!

On Friday 25th July 2025, the actor, musician, producer and DJ will be presenting a show that’s quickly becoming one of the biggest 80’s nights in the UK and spinning all the best hits from the decade.

Martin Kemp is witness to the very greatest music throughout the 80’s decade, he was part of it and he had and still has the greatest mates from the era!

As the hitmaker behind ‘Gold’, ‘True’ and countless other classics, it’s safe to say Martin is something of an expert when it comes to the trailblazing hits of that unforgettable decade in pop music.

Fast forward to the 2020’s and Martin’s ‘Back To The 80s’ DJ show proves those timeless songs have lost none of their lustre. Expect an electrifying journey soundtracked by pop’s finest pedigree, from Duran Duran to Chaka Khan, George Michael to Michael Jackson, Spandau Ballet and beyond

With a reputation for huge singalongs and an ecstatic atmosphere all night long, press and public alike have been praising this show, with the Express & Star hailing: “It could have been a school disco back in the 80’s – with the added bonus of a bar and the man spinning the hits being a member of one of the biggest pop bands of that decade… fantastic.”

Promising one of the biggest 80s night to hit the town all year, Martin says of the show:

Alongside his famous role as bassist in the iconic new wave outfit Spandau Ballet who have sold millions of records worldwide, Martin is also a recognised TV personality. Most recently seen on the hit documentary ‘The Kemps: All Gold’ which was broadcast over the Christmas period, Kemp has also made notable appearances on Channel 4’s GoggleBox with his Capital Radio DJ son Roman, Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls, plus Martin and Roman’s Sunday morning TV show. Martin Kemp continues to have a truly distinguished career.

He has also played lead roles in likes of The Krays and Eastenders, plus Starring in Gary Barlow`s Let it Shine, and most recently The Masked Singer alongside his wife Shirlie. Last year Martin also released his music memoir “Ticket to the World: My 80s Story”, a joyous, nostalgic celebration of 80s culture from one man at the centre of it all, which touched on the New Romantics, Spandau Ballet, Live Aid and beyond.
