A rarity amongst all the speedboats, cruise liners and ferries nowadays, tall ships are a majestic sight on the rolling waves and the art of sailing them no less exhilarating than in its heyday. This six hour sail is guaranteed to make the day of any aspiring sailor or just those who enjoy incomparable coastal scenery and the gentle bob of a vessel at sea. Setting off from a Victorian pier, the Moonfleet, a former Dutch cargo vessel built in 1930, will head towards either Lulworth Cove or beneath the chalk cliffs of the Isle of Wight in Alum Bay, where it anchors. Passengers are welcome to join the crew in getting hands on and help raise the mainsail, anchor and even steer should they wish, or just kick back and appreciate the sea views
