Teambuilding Exercises with Learning Objectives
These are just a selection of some of the team building exercises that we can provide and A Day in the Country can focus on specific issues such as Trust Building, communication, problem-solving, and change management. All of our exercises encourage bonding and openness within a team as well as being great fun. We can provide indoor and outdoor exercises giving full flexibility regardless of the time of year.
The learning from the exercises can easily be transferred to the work place as team members recognise how individuals strength and weaknesses impact on work productivity as well as the natural team development process. Please let us know what issues you would like to focus on and we can tailor a day to suit.
Segway Driving. Experience the unique feeling of riding one of our Segways. Segways are upright two wheel vehicles that guests stand on and using weight distribution only for speed and direction. Segways are great fun and can operate on a variety of terrains. Hills, grass, inclines and dirt pose no obstacle to is ability to go where you want to go. Enjoy these in a slalom race or as part of a rally race experience.
Circus Workshop. Fun and challenging bespoke training sessions incorporating trapeze and aerial skills, stage-fighting and theatre games helps develop self-confidence, performance skills, team strength and personal relationships. Learn new skills, explore new boundaries and challenge yourselves. We'll get clumsy folk to walk a tightrope, butterfingers to juggle and those afraid of heights to put an aerial sequence together. Amaze yourself and your colleagues with demonstrating skills you never knew you had!"
Low Ropes Challenge Course. Our new purpose built low ropes course encourages communication and co-operation, helping individuals build their confidence whilst developing their balance and co-ordination. Each challenge calls on the collective contributions of every team member - drawing on their ideas, support and effort to achieve a team goal. Whilst the underlying focus is on personal development, team building and group dynamics our staff go out of their way to make sure these activities are creative, action packed, exciting but above all - fun. Each challenge takes around thirty minutes to complete which is why our staff will work with you to select the correct combination of challenges for your group depending upon age, physical ability and your objectives for the session. The low ropes course consists of: The Mohawk Walk (consists of several elements) Multi Vine, Balance Beam, Chasm, Hybee Jeebie, Criss Cross, Low All Aboard.
