Salford, we are so excited to be back showcasing the finest makers, bakers and creators in the North West, so be sure to come by your local community market this month and be immersed in all the wonderful joy of over 130 artisan traders.

There will be live music with Jasmine on Saturday and Victoria May on Sunday. The mini marketeers can enjoy FREE crafting and there will also be facepainting by Sleek Cheeks available all weekend! Make sure to invite your friends and loved ones and have some bespoke permanent jewellery made on the day too- It’s truly an action packed day out for the whole family!

Bring your appetite because we’re set to have a bounty of delicious foods including: Japanese caramel puddings, tarta tres leches, tiramisu, baklava, cakes, brownies, olives, Turkish deli items, Indian meals, pies, tarts, pasties, sausage rolls, curries, samosas, cookies, cookie pies, chilli oil, gluten-free patisserie, vegan cakes, cheese, cocktails, hot chocolates, sourdough, East Asian street food, rum, burritos, loaded fries, crepes, Japanese cakes, liqueurs, filled doughnuts, Portuguese desserts, home baking ingredients, herbal teas, scotch eggs, cheesecakes, Italian breads & desserts and Indian chai.

There’s plenty for the art aficionados too with handmade items including: dog treats & accessories, candles, wax melts, art prints, jewellery, skin & haircare products, photography, home decor, 3d prints, felted art, psychedelic fashion, crystals, paintings, gothic giftware, greeting cards, embroidered baby gifts, handmade clothing, football art, perfume, children’s books, flower arrangements and cushions.

RSPB will be in attendance on the Saturday, they do wonderful work protecting the environment so make sure to come say hello and find out how you can be involved.

Quayside Media City Makers Market takes place on the last weekend of every month right in the heart of Salford, overlooked by the Lowry Theatre, Media City and Old Trafford football stadium, there is so much to see and do! Each event is filled with unique, high quality products and treasures you can’t find anywhere else.
