Come and join punk blues legends Stage Door Guy for their infamous Xmas celebrations. Concluding with a sing-a-long version of COCAINE FOR XMAS to see everyone home. Fresh from the critical acclaim of their latest album 'Stage Door Guy beach party'

On the 10th anniversary of the band they have lined up some exceptional support:

Gemma Rogers: (courtesy of Louder than sound) You might remember Gemma Rogers from such cult summer hits as My Idea of Fun or from sitting in for Steve Lamacq a while back on 6-Music. She is back with a typically visceral yet philosophical track from her forthcoming ‘No Future’ EP on the newly-formed sister label to punk stable Holy Dotage. The song is great, the video is dark and the background fascinating

We like Gemma Rogers for her lyrics, delivery and the fact that she just seems as cool as fuck.

When she first emerged comparisons to Lily Allen (the fringe and glottal stops) were off-putting as Rogers is more literate & art school, than stage school nepo-brat. Gemma is more like a London pop equivalent to New Yorks Shilpa Ray.

Gabi Garbutt:

A rare solo set from Gabi an artist championed by Steve Lamacq and Cerys Mathews. She has honed her literary-punk schtick until it's sharp as a blade. Gabi emerged from the lockdown triumphant with her wholly eclectic second album Cockerel in 2022 and a string of tour dates booked for that year. She supported similarly musically-minded cohorts: The LibertinesBig Country and The Boomtown Rats with her band The Illuminations.

her latest EP, The Creation Of Birds is a polarity-driven affair containing a palate of trademark hummable power pop melodies along with a surprising bedfellow of escapist almost ambient cinematic opuses.

All part of the London Music Room Xmas party!! DJ, drinks, food and  music what more could we ask for!
