Once home to the drinking club of the fifth earl of Exeter, the Bull & Swan is a traditional inn located in the Historic town of Stamford, on the edge of the Burghley Estate.

The inn is located just a short drive from the A1(m) and fortunate to feature a lovely kitchen garden featuring produce used by our chefs. There is also a terrace area which is perfect for enjoying a drink on a summer day as well as a covered Potting Shed which is home to an outdoor cinema screen and available to hire for parties all year round. Our Somerset Grill also fires up a weekend BBQ meal and can provide catering for your event in the Potting Shed.

Inside, there are nine, individually decorated bedrooms, all named after the nicknames of the Honourable Order of Little Bedlam members. There is also a cosy restaurant and bar with a log burner for those chilly nights. The Cavendish room is our private room, suitable for small meetings of up to six or private meals for up to eight.
