Based at the Bristol Climbing Centre, Undercover Rock is the leading provider of climbing instruction in the South West. A Regional Centre of Excellence, we can introduce you to the thrills and challenges of this exciting sport – from indoor taster sessions to major rock climbing adventures.

SCHOOLS & COLLEGES

We welcome groups of any age and abiity for both indoor and outdoor courses. We can deliver all our courses to groups - from 3 to 45 climbers in the centre, to residential adventures around the UK

DUKE OF EDINBURGH’S AWARD

Undercover Rock is an Approved Activity Provider for the Award Scheme. We are committed to the promotion, development and support of the scheme in the South West. In particular we work with schools and authorities to facilitate the Expedition Section of the Award. We can provide expedition training and expedition support anywhere in the UK.

CLIMBING WALL

Built within the fifteenth century Church of St.Werburghs, the Bristol Climbing Centre is one the most comprehensive indoor climbing facilities in the country. Awarded 'Regional Centre of Excellence' status by the Sports Council, the centre's facilities offer something for everyone from the complete beginner through to top level competition climbers.

COURSES

Whatever your experience or ability we can introduce you to the wonderful variety of UK climbing through our climbing and mountain courses. All our instructors are nationally qualified and we are a leading provider of UK instructor training. We are licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority, a provider for Mountain Leader Training and a NICAS Primary Centre.
