A typical old English thatched pub set in the heart of the Isle of Wight, surrounded by beautiful countryside. It is said that The Hare & Hounds is haunted by Michael Morey who murdered his grandson James in the area. There is a skull at The Hare & Hounds which was dicovered near where Michael Morey was hanged and it was originally thought to be that of Michael Morey, however later testing has proven it to be of a bronze age girl who died somewhere between 14/17 years of age.
