The Crab Inn is mentioned in the Domesday book and was originally a Coaching Inn. The thatched roof and brick fireplace are among the original features which give The Crab its warmth and Character.

The drinking fountain outside the pub bears an inscription written by non other than Longfellow. You are most welcome to dine throughout the pub with plenty of comfort to choose from and a menu that offers a great range of food to tempt most tastes.
