With 39 bedrooms, 7 individually designed private rooms seating from 8 to 200 people, extensive gardens designed by the legendary Capability Brown and a gym and treatment room, Stoke Place offers conferences, weddings, quiet getaways and fantastic dining.

Surrounded by 26 acres of beautiful parkland and abundant wildlife, it is difficult to believe Stoke Place is only 30 minutes from central London. Built as a family home in 1690, the substantial Queen Anne Manor House retains all of its old charms and features, updated with handpicked modern designer pieces. The restaurant and Head Chef Craig van der Meer have been awarded 4 out of 10 in the Good Food Guide (an accolade awarded to some Michelin Star restaurants) and described as producing a "dedicated, focused approach to cooking, good classical skills and high quality ingredients".

Private Parties at Stoke Place

Stoke Place is a party house - from garden parties, to small dinners, to big sit down dinners, to large country-house parties taking over the entire house, we are able to accommodate any type of celebration. Choose from any of our 7 individually designed rooms in which to have your drinks reception, dinner, dancing or relaxing and for those wanting to stay the night we have 40 bedrooms all available to hire. The kitchen is experienced in serving a delicious private dinner or lunch for anything between 10-200 guests. Areas within Capability Brown's Gardens can also be hired for outdoor parties, while the majority of the grounds are available for everyone to enjoy whatever the occasion. The hammocks on the lawn invite you to laze away a summer afternoon, the giant chess pieces and the croquet set are there for the playing and the grounds offer a beautiful walk behind the 6 acre lake, via the alpacas and back to the house
