Our skydiving club is run by the Army Parachute Association on Salisbury Plain, and we welcome military and civilian jumpers alike.
If you have never jumped before, why not come and experience the thrill of a Tandem Skydive from over 2 miles high! For those who would rather go it alone, we run Static Line and Accelerated Freefall (AFF) courses on Fridays and on Weekends.
If you are already a qualified Skydiver, then come along to the variety of events and competitions we run throughout the year. We regularly host events for a multitude of disciplines, aimed at all levels of ability for Canopy Piloting, Formation Skydiving, Load Organised Big-Ways, Wingsuit Flocks, Free-Flying….and more!

Tandem
• Tandem skydiving allows you to experience all the thrill and exhilaration of freefall, while being securely attached to a qualified instructor.
• Experience terminal velocity by falling through the air at speeds of around 120 mph on your first jump.
• The training is straight forward and usually takes just 30 minutes.
• Equipment specifically designed for two people is used which has dual controls, enabling you to have a go at steering the parachute.
• The jump is from up to 13,000 ft giving approximately 45 seconds of freefall. • Your instructor will open the parachute at 5000 ft giving you a 5 minute canopy ride over the beautiful Wiltshire countryside.
• Take away more than memories by opting for a camera person to jump with you and create a fully edited DVD of the entire event. Book the DVD when booking your tandem jump.
• Your tandem video will be posted on line so that it may be viewed by family and friends where ever they may be.
• The minimum age for a tandem jump is 16. There is no upper age limit.
Static Line
• Choosing static line (RAPS) means you will complete a solo jump giving you a unique sense of personal achievement, knowing that you did it all by yourself!
• You will be given a minimum of 6 hours ground training during a two day practical and theoretical course, including lessons on safety procedures, exiting the aeroplane in the correct body position, controlling the parachute and landing safely on the parachute landing area.
• The jump is from 3,500ft using a Ram Air (rectangular) parachute – an advanced gliding parachute similar to those used by experts but designed for the novice jumper.
• On your first jump, the parachute will open automatically as you exit from the aircraft.
• If you think skydiving is the sport for you, successful completion of this course puts you on the first step of the progression ladder. You could be qualified to do a freefall jump by jump number six.
• The age limitations are 16 to 54 years and a reasonable level of physical fitness is required.
AFF (Accelerated Freefall)
• Do your first ever jump from 13,000 feet – that’s nearly two and a half miles above the ground!
• Receive a minimum of 6 hours ground training covering safety procedures, exiting the aeroplane, maintaining a stable body position in freefall, flying the parachute and landing safely on the parachute landing area.
• Jump secure with the knowledge that two highly experienced instructors will be right by your side. Learn freefall skills step by step and by level three, just one instructor needs to accompany you.
• Go solo for your level 8 jump.
• Jump using a Ram Air (rectangular) parachute – an advanced gliding parachute similar to those used by experts but designed for the novice jumper.
• The age limitations are 16 to 54 years and a reasonable level of physical fitness is required.
