The Irwin Mitchell Oval Hall is the focal point of this Grade II listed building. The large auditorium with a stage, seats an audience of 2271 over three levels. It’s a surprisingly intimate hall which is ideal for gigs, shows and conferences.  The hall is accessed via the venue’s main entrance and foyer with break-out areas located on the top floor. 

 

The Memorial Hall located at the back of the venue has its own entrances and facilities for up to 430 delegates. The main auditorium provides a blank canvas of event space leaving organisers with seating and stage options, with an upper level overlooking the room with fixed seating. 

 

The venue’s main banqueting and exhibition area, the Ballroom, is located under the Irwin Mitchell Oval Hall and the Memorial Hall. The event space is serviced by its own entrance, facilities and benefits from an adjacent bar area and two further spaces called the North and South Halls which can open up into the Ballroom. 

 

In addition, two smaller meetings rooms can be found on the wings of the venue. Modernly styled with plenty of natural daylight the rooms are ideal for boardroom meetings and conference seminars but are also used as VIP suites for shows.
