Segway Sheffield was started by Chris and Michelle Moulds in November 2009 after coming across the Segway PT during their summer holiday in Spain last year. “When I first saw the Segway I knew instantly that I wanted to bring them into the UK”. 6 months later and we now have 8 Segway X2 all terrain models and have set up a course and various terrain tour routes at Clumber Park Worksop and Rother Valley Country Park, Rotherham .

The course gives people a chance to take a ride on a Segway and sample this unique machine without having the expense of buying one, and the tours are greatly enjoyed by everyone who takes part.

The Segway is emission free and virtually silent so they are a very unassuming machine but at the same time great fun and very practical for transporting an individual from A to B.

With a top speed of 12 miles an hour the Segway can whiz you along like you are floating across the floor and because they have no accelerator or brake they are simple to ride.

Anyone who can stand up can ride a Segway!

Have you ever asked yourself the question, what can I do thats new and exciting ? If you have then a Segway tour may be your answer.

Segways are simple to ride as they balance themselves and are suitable for all ages and abilities.(Check below for restrictions)

After a short safety and instruction briefing, you will be taken on a Segway Tour around the Park.

Tours are available at Rother valley country park and Clumber park and will last between 30 and 45 minutes depending on the speed of the riders.

If 3 days notice is given and there is a minimum of 4 riders then you may choose from either of the two venues where you would like to tour.

Standard tours are available 7 days a week including evenings ( April to September )

We can also arrange birthday parties and corporate events.
