For a day out taking in the beautiful scenery between Poole and Swanage, join the Swanage Railway heritage line and visit some idyllic destinations. Start the day on an hour long boat sightseeing trip from Poole Quay to Swanage Pier before walking 10 minutes through Swanage town to pick up the steam locomotive. Take in the views while you head out on a picturesque six mile route stopping at Herston (by request), Harmans Cross, Norden and (the most popular stop) Corfe Castle. The journey takes 25 minutes through Purbeck to Corfe Castle and guests can choose to either stay on board and come back down the line again, or get off at Corfe Castle (or any other stop).
