Sandon Hall, ancestral home of the Earls of Harrowby, sits astride high ground overlooking the Trent valley amidst 400 acres of rolling parkland. Completed in 1854, the imposing Hall, with its 50-acre formal gardens, is a grand, yet tranquil, setting. It is the ideal location for an array of functions, from weddings and parties to conferences and outdoor events. With all events hired on an exclusive basis and with high-quality service at all times, any event at Sandon Hall will live long in the memory.

Functions and Event Rooms for Hire

The Hall offers an exquisite venue for parties, proms and celebrations. Guests can be welcomed with the drinks in the Conservatory and gardens before enjoying high-quality dining and an evening party in the Saloon.

The Library and Dining Room are also available for smaller parties of up to 50 guests. The venue fee for such events is dependent upon the number of guests, the day/date and the length of the booking. Full details can be provided upon request. On a balmy summer’s evening there is the added option of drinks on the Terrace with stunning views over the gardens.

Dinner can be enjoyed in the Library, Old Dining Room or the Saloon depending on the size of your group and your individual needs. Every room has unique features, ensuring a memorable experience whatever you choose.

The oak panelled Library offers beautiful views of the gardens whilst the Old Dining Room can accommodate smaller numbers at its majestic oak table, with its impressive chandelier and portrait collection. Alternatively, the Saloon with its wood-panelled staircase makes a grandiose setting for a banquet.
