There is climbing for everyone at the Quay Climbing Centre, the South West's largest, dedicated indoor climbing wall. The centre breathes new life into the Old Electricity Works, one of Exeter's most identifiable buildings where, at over 15 metres at the apex, the atrium provides a majestic space in which to climb.

Schools & Groups

Climbing offers children a sporting experience that can increase fitness and agility, foster trust between peers, build leadership skills and develop a keen understanding of how to manage and assess risk.

The Quay has been designed with the needs of groups in mind. Our dedicated novice zone, abseil tower and fully equipped instruction space will help ensure your young climbers get the most out of their visit to the centre.
