Make your trip to Peckforton castle truly memorable with a chance to handle and fly trained birds of prey. The Raptor encounter is the perfect opportunity for you to meet several different species of birds of prey from owls to hawks, falcons and buzzards and get not only handle and fly them yourself but also learn all about the habits and lifestyles. We also offer a shorter session for children to allow them to handle and fly some of our smaller members of the bird team.

Each encounter is completely hands on in small groups to allow you the best opportunity to enjoy the experience. Spectators are welcome and photographs are encouraged.

We can also run encounters for corporate events and flying demonstrations for wedding parties and an owl that will deliver the wedding rings please as a member of staff for more details.
