Function Rooms

We offer a variety of event suites that combine warm, contemporary furnishings with a unique twist which adds personality and charm to any event. We have several intimate suites which are perfect for board meetings, private dining and business critical training and recruitment. We also have larger suites with a bar, dance floor and inbuilt AV equipment which are just as popular for conferences and small exhibitions as they are for parties and depending on your room layout, we can accommodate up to 600 people.

All day delegate packages include:

Ample free car parking, conference room hire, tea/coffee and danish pastries on arrival, mid-morning tea/coffee with biscuits, finger buffet lunch, afternoon tea/coffee with biscuits, cordials and natural water, table mints, flipchart and marker pens, wifi and note pads and pencils.

Wedding Ceremonies:

Your Wedding day is a day you will remember for the rest of your life. Choosing your ideal venue can be a daunting task but we are here to help. The City Ground offers a unique venue for you and your guests. Situated on the banks of the River Trent it has been the inspirational backdrop for a variety of important events. We recognise that each and every wedding is different and our wedding co-ordinators can tailor your day to suit your individual requirements. You can rely on our experienced team to ensure that your day runs smoothly from start to finish.

The City Ground is an approved venue for both Civil Marriage and Civil Partnership Ceremonies. Your special day can be held in our Trophy Room, which holds up to 50 guests, or the European Suite which is suitable for larger parties of up to 150. Our Civil Ceremony package can include hire of ceremony suite, flower arrangement for Registrar’s table, ring cushion, pitch-side photography for the bridal party and a glass of sparkling wine for the happy couple.

*Civil ceremonies must be non-religious and any music, readings or performances which form any part of the ceremony must be secular.

Asian Wedding Ceremonies:

Following the very successful launch of our Asian Wedding Packages in 2005 we are one of Nottingham’s favourite venues for the Asian community. The Pitch Sports Diner can cater for 200 to 600 people and has accommodated various Mandaps and themes. To ensure an authentic and appropriate menu is served, external professional Asian catering companies can be have use of our kitchens but this subject to guidelines and must be discussed prior to booking. Please ask for further details.

Our banqueting suites are available in a range of sizes and styles so there is something to suit all tastes. On-site parking provides ample space for over 300 cars. Local hotels can provide accommodation for your travelling guests so they can relax and enjoy the day.
