Murder by Appointment is owned and administered by Derek Bagnall. Formed in 2001 Murder by Appointment has undertaken many hundreds of events for private and corporate customers. Derek has many years of experience in all types of theatrical work and has been personally involved with Murder Mystery events for many years. From small beginnings, Murder by Appointment has grown to be one of, if not the, premier Murder Mystery companies within the UK.

Derek has formed a large company of experienced actors and actresses, more than sufficient to meet all of your needs. They are all highly adept in improvisation which the Murder Mystery genre demands.

Murder Mystery Organizers

Murder by Appointment offers you a wide range of Murder Mystery events, whether it be a small private party in your own home, a large celebration evening (such as a wedding reception, birthday or anniversary perhaps), a corporate event at your hotel, public house or club, or a complete weekend event in a residential hotel setting.

Everything is included to make your event a truly memorable and enjoyable experience for you and your family and friends or guests. Each Murder Mystery is uniquely scripted for your event to meet your own specific requirements. All of the documentation required, together with substantial prizes for the winner/s and a framed certificate, are included in our charges.

Events can be organized with anything from five characters (actors) to as many as you wish. They can last anything from 2 hours to a complete weekend, or longer.

Obviously our charges reflect the time required, the number of characters and the travelling distance. We undertake bookings throughout the UK and overseas (subject to special arrangements - please contact for details). We are located in South Staffordshire.
