The Motorpoint Arena Cardiff is a multi-purpose venue; hosting everything from major International Music Shows, Conferences, Exhibitions, to Ice Shows, Comedy Shows and Award Dinners. With over 5,000 sq. metres of fully integrated event space under one roof, the building was designed with the event organiser in mind.

Ever since local legend Dame Shirley Bassey took the stage on our opening night, we have been hosting stellar performances from the likes of Sir Tom Jones, Sir Elton John, Iron Maiden, The Killers, Westlife, Oasis, Kings of Leon and Lady Gaga to name just a few. And your event could be part of that history!
The Motorpoint Arena Cardiff is a multipurpose venue, and aside from live music, comedy and world class sporting events, it hosts banquets, weddings, proms, dinners and parties in its many function rooms. It’s a unique space to host your special event, however large or small, whether it’s an intimate gathering or a lavish celebration you’re having, we will happily create a bespoke proposal for you.
Rooms available include the Main Arena, which has a maximum capacity of 4,994 theatre style and 1,300 for dining. Novello Langleys suite, which has a maximum capacity of 300, and the Conference Suites, which can cater for a maximum of 240.
As for food, we provide inspirational menus offering a sensational and varied selection to entertain your taste buds.
Weddings
With various rooms and capacities to choose from, the Motorpoint Arena Cardiff is a blank canvas just waiting for a couple to come in and make it their own, with an ‘anything goes’ approach in regards to personalising individual rooms. And when it comes to cost, it’s both competitive and reasonable, especially when you consider the A-list stars to have previously graced the guest list for gigs.
