Loseley Park is set in 1400 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside just South of Guildford.Built in 1562 by Sir William More, Loseley House is a fine exampleof Elizabethan architecture, its mellow stone having come from the ruins of Waverley Abbey in nearby Farnham. The House has a multitude of fascinating artefacts, including many fine works of art, furniture from the 17th century onwards, and unique features such as the panelling from Henry VIII's Nonsuch Palace and a magnificent chalk fireplace. Resident today are the More-Molyneux family who are direct descents of the original owner and continue a family line that has lived at Loseley for nearly five hundred years.

Meetings

From the magnificent Great Hall to the atmospheric 17th Century Tithe Barn and the simpler Chestnut Lodge, Loseley Parkoffers a variety of options at attractiverates. The Great Hall of Loseley House is for occasions when the aura of an historic and magnificent room will create just the right atmosphere. TheTithe Barn is our most popular venue for meetings for up to 140. Chestnut Lodge is ideal for the smaller meeting up to 40 people.

Banquets

The 17th Century Tithe Barn is a very attractive venue for private and corporate functions of up to 120 people, leaving space for dancing if required. The addition of marquees can increase capacity to up to 400 and our resident caterers, JMK Classic Catering, can provide a wide range of menus from Silver Service to BBQ menus. Christmas parties are very popular for from 70 120 guests ,or party-shares are available for smaller groups of 10 people upwards.

The Great Hall is reserved for Fine Dining occasions of between 12 to 60 guests where the food and wine is commensurate with the superb surroundings.

Corporate Activity Days

Over 100 acres of grounds are available for a wide range of activities. We have a superb, professionally-designed Off-Road course, a Clay-Pigeon site and specific areas set aside for activities such as go-karting, laser clays, inflatables, team-building activities, archery, quad bikes and family fun days.

These events can be centred on the Tithe Barn or Chestnut Lodge or can be organised around a conveniently located marquee. Numbers can be anything from a dozen participants to several thousand.

Civil Weddings at Loseley Park

Our experience and attention to detail will ensure that your day is unique. We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies in either the Great Hall (for up to 100 guests) or the Drawing Room (for up to 25 guests). You can be assured of a most lavish setting to both capture and enhance this most special occasion. It is also possible to arrange a post-Wedding Blessing in the Loseley Chapel for up to 60 guests.

Wedding Reception

Your Wedding Reception or Wedding Breakfast can take place in the 17th Century Tithe Barn (up to 140 guests, or up to 400 with an adjoining marquee), Chestnut Lodge (up to 40 guests, or 90 with an adjoining marquee), or in the Walled Garden (up to80 in a marquee with provision for larger numbers if required). Whichever venue is chosen you can be sure of fantastic food and wonderful service.
