From Dunkirk to D-Day - The Story

Historic WW2 themed tour of London

Explore London past and present aboard two vehicles that played a vital role in the Second World War:- a DUKW and a Dunkirk little ship. These two iconic craft combine to offer a unique sightseeing experience. Travelling through the streets of London on our DUKW, discover the story behind this amazing vehicle, before transferring onto a plucky Dunkirk little ship. It’s an amazing experience for history buffs and sightseers alike! The tour is suitable for everyone. Our professional character tour guide, dressed in 1940s attire, will also reveal London’s most important Second World War sights including St Paul’s Cathedral, Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace*. Using a combination of historic speeches and vintage 1940s music, we’ll recreate the sounds and atmosphere of the era and whisk you back in time to a London at war. We’ll hear from the greatest Briton of them all, Winston Churchill, and bring to life key events of WW2 from the return of the Dunkirk boats from France with the entire British Army on board, through the London Blitz, and onto the D-Day Normandy landings.

For centuries, enemy nations around the world have secretly funded secret, underground and undercover networks intent on foul play and major felony! Operating from hidden bunkers, secret tunnels and even garden sheds, their devious plans avoid detection and suspicion from all but the most clever! It will be your challenge to work as teams of ‘incredibly brainy’ code-breaking masterminds, and using the DUKW as your boffin HQ, crack the secret code and stop our evil adversaries from stealing the tourist attractions of London.
