Lains Shooting School and Mullenscote Gundogs were founded in 1987. The Shooting School offers the discerning shooter the opportunity to shoot a variety of targets from the grounds 50 traps in a relaxed countryside atmosphere.

Shooting Lessons

Whether you are a beginner, novice, young or experienced clay or game shooter, we can tailor your lessons to suit your needs and requirements. We have a range of shooting school guns for clients to use and we specialise in taking youngsters and beginners from their first ever shot right through to being able to attend their first clay or game shoot. Teaching safety, shooting skills and etiquette for both disciplines.

Corporate Days

We understand that Corporate hospitality can be expensive and difficult to measure it's success. It can also be very limiting if you run a golf or sailing type event as previous experience is often necessary so you only invite people who are experienced. Some events will also limit you because it only appeals to younger able bodied people such as circuit and off road racing and paint ball games.

Corporate hospitality must give you the opportunity to invite guests because of their importance to you and your business irrespective of age, ability, previous experience of gender. It must also be enjoyable, cost effective yet provide you with ample opportunity to talk to your guests - building a social and business relationship.

Dog Lessons

New puppy, Disobedient Dog? Or just want to improve your handling skills. We train you to educate and shape your dogs behaviour. One-to-One group lessons and short courses. Basic obedience, social skills and dominance problems. Trained dogs available for you to gain confidence and practice handling skills. Dog training team available for shows and corporate displays.

Lesson cost will be £39 for an hour's one to one tuition. The intial one to one assessment lesson will be for an hour and a half and then an hour thereafter for subsequent lessons.

Field Target Air Rifle Range

Our covered Field Target Air Rifle Range offers a testing and varied layout for air gunners of all ages and ability, offering targets from five to eighty metres you can hone your skills in a relaxed woodland atmosphere.
