Kenwood House Now Open

Kenwood is one of London’s most elegant mansions, with its graceful white stucco exteriors an imposing and well-loved landmark. It has spectacular views towards the centre of the city.

Situated in North London on the Northern heights of beautiful Hampstead Heath, Kenwood House is a superb Georgian villa with a world class art collection. Kenwood House is internationally renowned for the collection of paintings bequeathed to the nation in 1927 by Edward Cecil Guiness, 1st Earl of Iveagh.

Among the world-famous works are Portrait of an Artist by Rembrandt, The Guitar Player by Vermeer and Mary, Countess Howe by Gainsborough, together with exquisite paintings by Hals, Van Dyck, Reynolds, Turner and many others.

Orangery

Especially suitable for summer evenings, floor to ceiling windows extend right across the south wall, giving superb views across the landscape beyond.

Dining Room

Impress your guests with drinks and dinner in the Dining Room where Kenwood’s finest old masters look down as you dine.

The West Wing

Three adjoining rooms provide a contrasting combination for larger occasions – the Orangery with the Music Room and Green Room. These two ornate rooms with high ceilings and chandeliers open onto a flower garden.
