Flying Fish Hovercraft was formed in 2001 providing both days out, 'driving hovercraft' for hovercraft nuts, and recreational and cruising hovercraft for individuals and businesses. In mid 2008 we split the company and created Hovercraft Adventures to concentrate solely on providing people with the thrill of hovercrafting at our track. We now have the largest hovertrack in the country with water dedicated to hovercraft giving customers the chance to feel the exhilarating feeling of flying over land onto water and back.

Track Days and Events with Flying Fish Hovercraft

With over ten years experience, Hovercraft Adventures are the UK’s leading provider of Hovercraft Experiences and the choice of many stag and ‘adventure’ companies. Using Flying Fish ‘Snapper’ hovercraft, which we manufacture, means nobody has more experience in running events than us! Easy to drive, difficult to master, the Snapper is the ideal for new drivers, but fast enough for experienced thrill seekers!

Flying a foot above the ground, over land and water, you’ll be part of a group of 12 drivers who, following a safety briefing, learn first to drive – then compete - in various events. Finally, in the ‘Top-Gun’ shoot out you’ll find the fastest driver of the day – with the top ten drivers from each year invited back for a free ‘Race of Champions’ event in March!

Events last between two, and two-and-a-half hours, are intense and fast paced. You’ll be surprised who shines as the fastest driver, and anyone can take part as long as they’re in reasonable health. You don’t need a driving license and drivers can be as young as 12 years old.
