Experience a thrilling 20 minute helicopter flight, 15 of which are spent in the company of two of Britain's mightiest warbirds, the Mk. IX Spitfire and Mk. I Hurricane. Watch the warbirds fire up their Rolls-Royce Merlin engines then board the chopper and take to the skies where the Battle of Britain was won. Heading towards RAF Tangmere, the Spitfire and Hurricane will 'buzz you' before joining in close formation. After a few minutes on either side of the helicopter, giving stunning close-up views of these spectacular aircraft in flight, the warbirds break formation, peeling off from the helicopter as you reach the Solent. The show is far from over however as the helicopter is hunted by the pair of them on the flight back to base
