Classic Wings, based at The Imperial War Museum, Duxford, Cambridgeshire, offer Tiger Moth Flights, Tigers & Tracks (vintage bi-planes & tanks), Flight Academy (helicopter flight, flying lesson, microlight experience & aerobatic display) and Introductory Flying Lessons. They also offer Corporate Events and Team Building Activities.

Flight Experiences

• Tiger Moth Flights (from £119) - Imagine yourself in the first years of aviation and the thrill of a wartime fighter pilot taking his first training flight in this nostalgic aircraft. Choose from a 15 minute or 30 minute flying experience.

• Fly in a Dragon Rapide (from £109) - Take a nostalgic sightseeing flight in the Dragon Rapide, one of the best loved pre-war aircraft. Ours are 2 of the very few left flying and are completely restored to comply with modern regulations - the last word in civilised sightseeing! Choose from a variety of spectacular routes.

• Tigers and Tracks (£419) - A WHOLE DAY OF ACTION - a mix of bi-plane fun and tank driving excitement. An excellent full day of thrills that you will find hard to forget.

• Aerobatic Flying (from £254) - Take to the air for an adrenaline fuelled flight to experience the thrill of high level aerobatics. Choose from a 30 minute or 40 minute flight.

• Warbird Flying (from £389) - NEW!! This is a truly unique experience as the opportunity for a flight in a warbird such as the Harvard is very rare. A real adrenaline rush for the pilot or non pilot alike - the next best experience to flying a Spitfire..

• Introductory Flying Lessons (from £125) - This flight makes a wonderful gift for the first-time pilot or just someone who's dreamed of flying a light aircraft.

Corporate Events

• Flying Academy - Activities include: 20 minute hands-on flying lesson in the Tiger Moth. 15 minute hands-on flying lesson in an R22 helicopter. Private guided tour of the highlights of the Duxford aviation colection. Microlight experience - your instructor introduces you to flying like a bird Three course lunch and refreshments. Flight certificate presentation

• Team Building Events - Activities include: Welcome meeting and briefing in control tower, with refreshments. Command Tasks: five indoor or outdoor activities to challenge both mind and body. Aerial Search mission: decode your instructions and take to the air for your mission. Fire Crew Challenge: this is the real thing (apart from the fire!). Hovercraft flying around our obstacle course. Buffet Lunch, Barbecue or Hog Roast . Champagne and prize giving for winning teams.

• Tigers & Tracks - Tigers and Tracks is our most popular event bringing together flying and tank-driving in one location. This is a unique opportunity and it cannot be experienced anywhere else in the UK. It gives guests a rare chance to enjoy some really original and exciting activities. The day includes: Welcome meeting and briefing in Control Tower, with refreshments 20 minute flying lesson in a Tiger Moth, 20 minute tour over Cambridge in a de Havilland Dragon Rapide, Military Vehicle driving experience, Guided Tour of the Imperial War Museum Duxford, Buffet Lunch in the pilot's Briefing Room in the Control Tower and Certificate presentation and insurance.

• Wings & Wheels - Choose from any of the following activities: Exciting driving lesson in an armoured personnel carrier. Hovercraft driving challenge - a flight that's only 4" off the ground. Crazy driving on pee wee bikes, buddies, quads, argokats and reverse steer tractors. Sightseeing flight over Cambridge in the Dragon Rapide, a 1930s vintage airliner. Hands-on flying lesson in an R22 helicopter. Microlight experience - your instructor introduces you to flying like a bird! Flying lesson in a Tiger Moth, Cessna or Supercub. • The Duxford Experience - A morning or afternoon spent steeped in the history of Duxford with aviation stories and exhibits from Britain and America, plus your own vintage flight. Activities Include: Welcome meeting with refreshments in the original Air Traffic Control Tower. Guided tour of aircraft at the Imperial War Museum Duxford.
