Wales’ highest rated country house hotel, Bodysgallen Hall & Spa is the perfect venue for a number of different events, from a wedding, celebratory dinner, brain storming meeting, product launch or team building activities. Located just 2 miles south of the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno, and set in 200 acres of private parkland, the hotel enjoys spectacular views across its award-winning gardens to the majestic Snowdonia mountains and Conwy Castle. Restored in 1981 and re-opened as a luxury hotel and Spa, Bodysgallen Hall has consistently been awarded with 4 AA Red Stars (Inspectors' Choice).

This handsome 17th century Hall is elegantly furnished with antiques, fine paintings and collectables, offering the traditional and comfortable ambience of a private house. Accommodation is found both in the main Hall (15 bedrooms including 4 Principal Suites) and in the sixteen charming Welsh stone cottages nestling in the grounds.  

The hotel’s award-winning restaurant with AA 3 Rosettes is renowned for its excellent menu created by our Head Chef using locally sourced ingredients and seasonal produce from our garden. There is also an adjoining private dining room adding another 30 covers to the restaurant's capacity of 60. A second restaurant, Bistro1620, is housed in the converted coach house and offers an imaginative and value for money menu, ideal for casual dining.

For small high level meetings or product launch presentations, the Wynn Room is located a few yards from the hotel, comfortably seating 20 boardroom style and up to 50 theatre. It benefits from air-conditioning, natural daylight, cloakrooms, free Wi-Fi and ample free parking. With over 200 acres of woodland and meadows, there are also ample opportunities to host team building events.

Bodysgallen Hall, approached by a long winding drive, is a perfect venue for weddings and the Hall can be hired for exclusive use, thus ensuring the bridal couple and their guests have total freedom and privacy. Smaller weddings up to 50 people are held in the main Hall with the ceremony in the Wynn Room, while for larger weddings, a marquee can be erected in the grounds with full service and catering supplied from our highly trained staff and kitchens.

The Bodysgallen Spa is award-winning and offers excellent health and fitness facilities. It has a 50ft indoor heated swimming pool, five beauty treatment rooms, sauna, steam room, and spa bath. There is a tranquil relaxation room and a secluded sun terrace. Guests can enjoy light refreshments served in the Club Room or on the terrace.

Bodysgallen Hall, like its sister hotels Hartwell House near Aylesbury and Middlethorpe Hall in York, has achieved a graceful transition from country house to first-class hotel without losing its character. In September 2008, Bodysgallen Hall and the other two Historic House Hotels became part of the National Trust by donation.
