Set in the exquisite Burghley House grounds, this is the perfect setting for you to eat al fresco and enjoy a wonderful evening out with Battle Proms. Proceedings kick off with displays from the Infantry and Napoleonic Cavalry and a cascade of shots from a vintage field gun, shadowed by an arranged display courtesy of Carolyn Grace in her LF Mark IX Spitfire, to the opening orchestral programme. Performing a portfolio of influential classics such as Jerusalem and Rule Britannia are The New English Concert Orchestra and Channel 4's winning soprano Denise Leigh. As the evening comes to an end, sit and watch the traditional flag waving finale and marvel at the magnificent firework spectacle
