Begin with a classroom briefing, which covers the effects of the helicopter controls and essential health and safety information. Then, hop into the cockpit along with a qualified instructor, for some hands-on action. Get off to a flying start, by mastering upper air handling, before focusing on low level exercises, such as how to hover.
