Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Achieves Healthcare Meetings Accreditation

The Mercure Manchester Piccadilly has further strengthened its position in the meetings and events healthcare sector following its approval to become part of the Healthcare Venues community. In joining the organisation, the hotel has been approved as a Healthcare Champion, underlining its commitment to, and understanding of, these specialist events.

The announcement follows an independent third-party assessment by a healthcare body and underlines the brand’s commitment to adhering to industry codes of practice and healthcare company guidelines. As part of the partnership, the hotel will be ‘listed’ as a Healthcare Venues provider, allowing healthcare meeting bookers access to independent compliance assessments for meeting approvals, gain expertise from trained specialists to plan compliant healthcare meetings, and receive clear insight into the venue’s capabilities, tailored to the healthcare sector.

Healthcare meetings have a long history at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly, with the venue hosting over 40 sector events on an annual basis. The hotel has witnessed a number of planners taking advantage of its large plenary rooms, collections of breakout and workshop spaces, and its range of bedrooms. The property also has experience in managing rooms and delegate flow for maximum productivity, and privacy.
