Redroom
Formed in 2019, The Redroom consists of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Jessica Lewis-Ward, Jake Elliott on lead guitar, Bassist Dominic Aldridge, Matthew Dodds on Keys and Synthesisers, and Charlie McDonald on Drums. The band saw early success with their debut single Nostalgia and have since amassed over 150,000 Spotify streams, attracting interest from the likes of BBC 6 Music, Radio X, This
Feeling, and Crack Magazine. Taking influence from artists like Joy Crookes, Mac DeMarco and Lily Allen with their dreamy chord progressions and storytelling lyrics. Lewis-Ward’s care-free songwriting style highlights the female experience and touches on current issues faced by the younger generation of today.
