Okay, let’s get this straight before we go any further, David Eagle is a folk musician. Not just a folk musician but one good enough to make a living out of it. A bloody good folk musician. An accomplished folk musician.The crazy, crazy bad ass world of folk has it’s downside though and when the cocaine and groupies got too much David bailed out and parachuted safely into stand up comedy.  And, guess what? He’s a bloody good comic too. David has some class gags, routines and songs (well, if you already own an accordion you might as well do something with it.) and hardly even mentions folk music. Deliciously dark, quite twisted and devastatingly funny. Catch him soon.

Your host for the evening is Stephen Bailey, (Live at the Apollo, Celebrity Mastermind, Madame Blanc Mysteries etc). A proud Northern, working class, gay man. Best known as a TV presenter it’s the arena of live, stand up comedy where Stephen really shines. Gossipy, bitchy, close to the bone even, but with such an infectious sense of fun everyone gets the joke and no one is left behind.
