William Robinson – The Wild Gardener

In the late 19th and early 20th century, William
Robinson – one of the British Isles’ most influential horticulturalists –
championed and popularised a more naturalistic gardening style that
used hardy plants to create landscapes that mimic wild spaces. Become
immersed in his vision of a 'wild garden' through beautiful artwork and
photography, before heading out into the garden to explore the kind of
landscapes he inspired and advocated. Normal garden admission applies.
