Our Italianate mansion with roaring fire, cosy yet luxurious bedrooms all set in 110 acres of beautiful Essex countryside, makes Down Hall the perfect destination for a Christmas break.

Our three-day package includes everything you need to create a magical Christmas, leaving you to relax and unwind.

Let us help you capture the spirit of Christmas and make this year’s festivities truly memorable.

From £1200 per adult
From £600 per child (12 years and under)

Christmas Eve
Check in to our luxurious guest rooms from 3:00pm before a welcome glass of fizz and festive canapés.
At 6:00pm, join us for entertainment provided by The Gospel Choir and enjoy traditional mince pies with mulled wine followed by a sumptuous meal from 7:30pm.

Christmas Day
Start your day with a delicious breakfast, followed by Santa making an appearance to meet our youngest guests.
Enjoy a chilled glass of Champagne before sitting down to a lavish five-course Christmas lunch, accompanied by the sounds of our resident pianist. The royal speech will be shown at 3:00pm, followed by a festive family movie at 4:00pm. Christmas buffet served from 7:30pm, accompanied by the sounds of our harp and cello duo.

Boxing Day
A Boxing Day brunch is served between 8:30am to 11:00am. Head to our beautiful grounds to take part in a choice of either falconry or laser clay. A family movie will be shown at 4:00pm.
Conclude the day with a tasty buffet, whilst listening to the sounds of our live singer, Gary Winter.

27th December
We will bid you a fond farewell, but not before you enjoy one last delicious breakfast with us.
