Bring your chairs or picnic blanket and fall in love with sexy John Travolta and beautiful Olivia Newton-John as this very unlikely couple. In the summer of 1958, greaser Danny Zuko and sweet Australian girl Sandy Olsson meet at the beach and fall in love. When the summer comes to an end, Sandy worries that they might never meet again, but Danny tells her that their love is "only the beginning." Great comedy, great music and some unforgettable classic lines.

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

This film is rated PG (Parental Guidance). General viewing, but some scenes may be unsuitable for young children. Unaccompanied children of any age may watch, but parents are advised to consider whether the content may upset their children.  By purchasing a ticket you confirm that all attendees have parental permission.

What time do we need to arrive?

The screening will begin after sunset.  We estimate a start time of 8.30pm but this is dependent on light conditions on the day.  The screening can only begin after dusk to ensure the best experience for our audience.  Please arrive in plenty of time as there is a short walk from the car park to the event.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Black Park has a Pay and Display Public Car Park located off Black Park Road (SL3 6DS).  For this event car parking is included in your ticket price after 7pm. Please make sure you fill in the vehicle registration details of the car you plan to park on your bookng form - you do not need to display a ticket in your car after 7pm. There is a short walk from the car park to the event field.

If you plan to arrive before 7pm, you will need to purchase and display a valid pay and display ticket on the day. 

What can I bring into the event?

You can bring any food or drink into the event as well as blankets and folding chairs. We ask that no large structures (gazebo, large umbrellas etc) are brought in as this can block the view of others.

What's the refund policy?

A full refund will be issued for cancellations made a minimum of 30 days prior to the event date.  Refunds will not be issued for late cancellations or no-shows.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You can either bring your printed ticket or show your eticket on your mobile phone on arrival.
